
Uncle Ozzie is our resident business guy, a former Ivy League hoops player, he first listened to Reggae on the basketball courts of NYC and New Jersey in High School. As a young radio sales guy, his first job was at KAOI-FM on Maui, selling time in the Saturday Night Reggae show in the late 80s, early 90s (with Jammin Jamico and Marty Dread) as well as the rest of the week. He went on to management gigs for most of his 30+ year radio career including some of the biggest stations in the country including KLOL in Houston, WSB in Atlanta and HOT97 in NYC. Additionally, he launched reggae stations in the Hawaiian Islands including Island 98.5 in Honolulu in 1999 and Native FM on Maui and the Big Island in 2013.
